Who would have guessed Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s relationship would outdo everyone else’s on The Hills?

The pair, who are still reportedly happily married, don’t follow in the footsteps of the other cast members, who fellow former star Whitney Port says drifted apart.

“I think we all kind of went our separate ways once the show ended,” the TV personality, 27, told PEOPLE at Thursday’s grand opening of Kyle Richards’s Kyle by Alene Too boutique in Beverly Hills, where some of Port’s designs are being sold.

“I’m fine with it, like I’m at peace with it. With me, I never feuded with anyone, and nothing ever ended badly, so it just naturally happened that [I lost touch with people].”

Port – who says she runs into the show’s star and former close pal Lauren Conrad “here and there” – wouldn’t say being on The Hills “scarred me for life, but it definitely made a mark.”

But the fashion designer, who also starred on her own series, The City, isn’t ruling out another go at reality TV.

“I think I would do something fashion-related for sure,” she explains. “But I don’t ever see myself doing something as intimate as what I did.”

When the leggy blonde isn’t working on her line, she spends some time with her boyfriend, reportedly Tim Rosenman, who was a producer on The City.

“It’s very refreshing,” Port says about having a relationship out of the spotlight. “It’s nice.”

The first ever international designer and celebrity will be launching their self-titled collections through Australian Fashion Week next week.

Style icon and reality TV star, Whitney Port is headed to Australian for the launch of her two signature fashion lines, Whitney Eve and diffusion line W.E by Whitney Eve.

Fresh from judging Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model, the international star will début her collections to the Australian fashion media pack at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA).

Originally launched in 2008, the Whitney Eve collection has been received with such praise that Port recently took to the runway at New York Fashion Week, unveiling her Autumn/Winter 2012 collection.

Anticipating equal acclaim for her contemporary collection from her Australian audience, she will reveal her eclectic Spring/Summer 12/13 range in an installation format within the new MBFWA venue space, The Box on Monday 30th April at 7pm.

Cementing her place within the fashion industry, Port is a welcome breathe of fresh air, having designed an original collection that distinctively demonstrates her inherent creativity and knack for style.

Influenced by her Los Angeles upbringing and her time spent in New York City, the collection combines a relaxed Californian style, with the perfect balance of edginess straight off the streets of Manhattan.

Style influencers and celebrities across the globe have all caught on to the well-crafted collection, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, Isla Fisher, Nikki Hilton and the Kardashians to name a few have all been spotted in Whitney’s collections.

Both ranges incorporate styles forming an array of silhouettes, from party dresses to playful androgynous pieces that have been heavily influenced from Ports own signature style.

The S/S collections from Whitney Eve, and W.E by Whitney Eve will be available in stores nationally from August 2012.

If and when a Hills movie becomes a reality, there’s one star who wouldn’t mind joining Audrina Patridge on the silver screen: Whitney Port.

“Yeah, I think so,” said Port when asked whether or not she’d be willing to reprise her role in a film version of the hit MTV series. “Why not? Sure!”

The budding fashion designer predicts the Hills movie would reunite the cast to highlight the changes in their lives since the series wrapped last year after six seasons.

“I think it would be cool,” Port, 26, told PEOPLE while volunteering at the To Write Love On Her Arms booth at Vans Warped Tour in Los Angeles. “It would be cool!”

But if a Hills movie really is in the works, the cast hasn’t been approached yet.

“I don’t know that there’s anything actually happening,” she says, admitting she was surprised by Patridge’s comments about the proposed project in an interview with Ryan Seacrest last week. “I didn’t know what she was talking about.”

As far as Port knows, the Hills movie remains the fantasy of the series’ producer, Adam DiVello.

“I know that [DiVello] once mentioned that that would be a goal of his” to make a movie version, says Port. “I haven’t heard anything, but I know that it’s something our producer wanted to do.”

Whitney blogged about the visit:

Hey love bugs,
I unfortunately have spent the weekend at the hospital with my fam, but I can happily say that my grandpa’s surgery went well and his spirits are lifted! He’s had lots of visitors and after you look through these pics you can see that he is definitely getting the proper care, haha! Paigey and Jadey had a little too much fun playing in the supplies cabinet in his room! I’m not sure if Paige looks more like a patient or a doctor, and Jade looks like a giant baby! I was about to take a pic of them together when all of a sudden we heard the nurse knocking on the door! In a moment of panic they started to strip their outfits off and I caught them mid shot! See, hospitals aren’t such a doozy after all!! xoxo, Whit

Lauren Conrad isn’t the only Hills alum to make a major hair change. Whitney Port showed off a new reddish color at SVEDKA’s Night of a Billion Reality Stars party in L.A. on Thursday.

So what prompted the 25-year-old to dye her long blonde locks? “We changed just because we can! That’s what hair color is all about,” the star’s hair pro, Kristin Ess told UsMagazine.com of the color she jokingly calls “apricot gingersnap.”

To get the desired effect, Ess first applied an apricot base, followed by a matching gloss to add shine and help lock in the new color. Then, she topped it off with a few fine blonde highlights around Port’s face and at the ends so it looks natural.

“Whitney loves it. She’s already feeling comfortable [as a redhead] and that’s most important,” says Ess.

Just like Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port’s reality show roots first sprouted on MTV’s The Hills — back when their hangout, Les Deux, was still a nightclub instead of an eatery.

In 2008, Whitney left the Hollywood Hills for the concrete jungle to film The City in NYC, but now she’s back in Cali working on her clothing line, Whitney Eve, and on her TV career as the host of a new show, Genuine Ken. This week, she’s also releasing a book, True Whit: Designing a Life of Style, Beauty, and Fun. I recently tapped the girl about town for her hometown hot spots. Here’s where she splurges, gets rejuvenating facials, and stocks up on books.
# Drybar (multiple locations, 310-442-6084) “A salon that does blowouts for only $35 dollars! How can you beat that? Plus they have snacks and champagne while you get beautified!”
# The Finer Skin Institute (1828 1/2 Broadway, Santa Monica, 310-393-2598) “Started by Linda Finer, this amazing skin institute in Santa Monica not only gives the best facials in town but has the most wonderful skin products out there!”
# Johnny Ramirez at Neil George Salon (9320 Civic Center Dr., Ste 101, 310-275-2808) “Visit Johnny and leave with the prettiest, most natural hair color out there. He has nursed my hair back to health after bleaching it for years!”
# Reddi Chick at The Brentwood Country Mart (225 26th St., Santa Monica, 310-393-5238) “I used to go to this amazing rotisserie chicken spot almost every other day growing up. Get the chicken basket, a half rotisserie chicken with the best fries I have ever had.”
# Pressed Juicery (13050 San Vicente Blvd., #120, 310-777-7898) “I can down their juices in two minutes. This spot has special technology that presses the most essential and purest nutrients out of all organic veggies and fruits. Try the detox #2!”
# Opening Ceremony (451 N. La Cienega Blvd., 310-652-1120) “By far my favorite clothing store in the city. It houses some of the most unique designers and defies trends.”
# Borders Century City (10250 Santa Monica Blvd., 310-552-1411) “A beautiful book store in the heart of an amazing shopping center where you can find pretty much any publication out there!”
